| Atmosphere | Calvary Baptist Church is one of the friendliest churches around. You will be greeted warmly by our members. |
| Music | Our music is uplifting and exciting. We sing hymns and gospel songs primarily. We believe that church music should move your spirit - not your body; therefore, we do not go along with the "Contemporary Christian Music" movement that is so prevalent in churches today, in which the music you hear at church sounds just like the "pop station" on the radio. Rest assured, however; our music is not boring - we sing with enthusiasm about God and what he has done for us. |
| Sermon Style | We refer to our sermons as "preaching." It is a Biblical term that means, "to lift up the voice and proclaim." Pastor Stonestreet preaches with great passion and zeal to lift up the name of Jesus Christ. His messages are inspiring and challenging. They are practical and deal with situations that we all face in life. View the video archive to see a sample. |
| Facilities | In 2005, the Lord blessed and were able to completely remodel our main auditorium. This is a beautiful, state of the art facility. |
| Nurseries/Childcare | Located in the auditorium building, our infant and toddler nurseries are a clean and safe place to leave your children while you enjoy the service. Television monitors in the lobby allow you to "peek in on the action" at anytime. |
| Visitors | We DO NOT embarass visitors! We won't ask you to say anything or do anything during your visit. You will be given a visitor packet with a card to fill out if you'd like. |
