Be 100% sure that you're going to Heaven

Realize that God loves you - John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Realize that everyone is a sinner - Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
No one is perfect; we all sin and fall short of God’s perfection.

Realize that sin has a price that must be paid - Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
The word “death” in this verse speaks of a spiritual death in Hell. There is nothing we can do to “earn” our way to Heaven.

Realize that Jesus Christ died to pay your price - Romans 5:8
“But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Knowing that we couldn’t save ourselves, Christ paid our penalty. Yes, Jesus died for everyone, but that doesn’t mean that everyone automatically goes to Heaven; we must do one simple thing:

Pray and receive God’s gift of eternal salvation - Romans 10:13
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Also, 1 John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” To receive eternal life, we must first receive Christ as our Savior. If you would like to receive Christ right now, simply pray this prayer from your heart, realizing that it’s not mere words that
save, but your faith in Christ:

Dear Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner. I know I can’t save myself. Please forgive me for my sins. Jesus, come into my heart and save my soul. I’m trusting in you, and you alone, to take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me Jesus, Amen.

If you’ve just prayed this prayer, or would like to know more, we’d love to hear from you, and give you some materials to help you grow in your new Christian life. Simply call, write, or e-mail us.
